Science Fair 2004

Science Fair was organised at district level for all the CBSE schools to participate. It got off to a flying start with the inauguration by Dr. K. Venugopala Rao, Chairman, Narsapur Municipality on 19.11.04 at 10.00 A.M.

Three eminent people Mr. S. B. Bhaskar Rao, Correspondent, Mission High School, Narsapur, Ms. K. Lakshmi Kumari, Lecturer, BGBS Women’s College and Mr. Ch. Chandar Paul, Teacher, S.D.A. School, Rustumbada were on the panel of judges.

It was a Kaleidoscope of scientific live exhibits representing various concepts based on the Themes of Astronomy and Space exploration, Health and Medicine, Hitech in Medical Science, Energy and Engineering, Information Technology, Eco-system, Earth Science, Mathematics, Transport and Communications.

Over 101 exhibits were displayed and 300 students participated with great enthusiasm in the Science Fair. It was opened to the public as well. Many schools, colleges and general public responded overwhelmingly.

A valedictory function was organised at 3:00 P.M. on the final day of the Science Fair. On 20/11/04 Mr. P. Babu Rao, R.D.O., the Chief Guest addressed the gathering and distributed the prizes.
