We thank you for your continued support and cooperation during the First Term. Report Books for FA3 from Jr.Kg. to Std.X were issued.
1) ARTS & SCIENCE FAIR ON 28.10.2011 and 29.10.2011:
Arts and Science Fair was held on 28.10.2011 and 29.10.2011 and students displayed creative exhibits ranging from Historical facts, Biological Sciences and Physical Sciences.
Chief guest Ms. B. Satya Vani, Commissioner, Narsapur Municipality, who graced this occasion congratulated the participants and commended the services and contribution of J. Sikile School.
The following panel of Judges assessed these projects and selected the winners:

2) DIVISIONAL LEVEL SCIENCE EXHIBITION HELD AT BHIMA
were awarded First prize at the Divisional level Science Exhibition held at Bhimavaram on 23.11.2011.

3) CHARACTER EDUCATION:
Students need to study not only the Academic knowledge but also learn to be responsible for their own emotions, develop their self-esteem and team building skills. Character Education classes are conducted regularly with the concept of the true purpose of Education with moral and ethical values.
The six(6) pillars of Character can dramatically improve the quality of our decisions and thus our Character and lives.
Students have viewed the following videos on the two(2) pillars of Character "Responsibility" and "Fairness":
i) Responsibility: Responsibility means doing what you are supposed to do, to be accountable for your actions, to persevere, have self discipline, think before you act, consider consequences and always do your best. Students have viewed challenging videos about The Geese and the Tortoise, the Cane that talked, Be good do good, Donald duck, the Lazy Donkey, the Fox and the Grapes.
ii) Fairness: Fairness means to be just, play by the rules, take turns and share, listen to others and that playing fairly is more important than winning. The students have viewed the videos of a Proud Teacher, the Singing Donkey, the Monkey and the Crocodile.
4) CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES:
i) Essay writing, Fancy dress, on the spot painting competitions were conducted as per the School Calendar. The winners of Fancy dress competition were awarded with mementoes and certificates.
ii) Our students participated in the "Essay Writing" and "On the Spot Drawing Competition" on the topic "The Role of Police in Religious Harmony" on the occasion of Police Commemoration Day.
iii) Five(5) students from std.IX-X participated in CBSE Group Mathematical Olympiad 2011 at Hyderabad on 04.12.2011.
5) NEW ACADEMIC YEAR 2012-2013:
The First Term for the Academic Year 2012-2013 will be from April,2012 to September,2012 and the Second Term will be from October,2012 to March,2013.
All classes for the Academic Year 2012-2013 will commence from 02.04.2012 upto 30.04.2012 and the Summer vacation will commence from 01.05.2012.
6) TEXT BOOKS AND NOTE BOOKS FOR THE NEXT ACADEMIC YEAR 2012-2013:
Text books and Note books for the next Academic Year 2012-2013 will be made available in our School stores from March,2012 and the dates will be notified in due course.
7) CHRISTMAS VACATION:
Christmas vacation for students will commence from 23.12.2011 to 01.01.2012. The school reopens on MONDAY, 02.01.2012. The school office timings during vacation period is from 9:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M.
