2.1: WATER PURIFICATION SYSTEM: OXYPLUS 250 LPH Reverse Osmosis based water purification system was installed in the School Campus to provide pure drinking water facility to all the students which is based on World Health Organization approved technology. OXYPLUS eliminates all bacterial, viral contaminants, unwanted physical impurities, reduces the salts to the required level and provides rich pure tasty drinking water. The water purification system was inaugurated by Mr. D. Ronald Rose, I.A.S., Sub-Collector, Narsapur Division on 31.10.2009.
3.1 :SILVER JUBILEE CELEBRATIONS: The tentative dates of Silver Jubilee Celebrations are on FRIDAY, 18.12.2009 and SATURDAY, 19.12.2009. We request you to mark your Calendars and make it convenient to attend and make these celebrations a grand success.
4.1: GOLD MEDALS: We invite the parents to encourage meritorious students and sponsor Gold medals in memory of their loved ones. You may please meet the undersigned for further details.
5.1: EXAMINATION REFORMS AND CONTINUOUS AND COMPREHENSIVE EVALUATION (CCE) IN THE CENTRAL BOARD OF SECONDARY EDUCATION (CBSE): CBSE vide Circular No.39 dated 20.09.2009 and No.40 dated 29.09.2009 has decided to introduce the following scheme for Secondary Schools:
A) CLASS X – 2009-10 ACADEMIC SESSION:
i) All students of Class X in the current academic year will be taking the CBSE Board’s Class X 2010 Examination. The CBSE will be conducting this Examination.
ii) The weightage of the School Based Assessment will remain the same as per past practice, i.e. 20% each in the subjects of Science, Social Science and Mathematics.
iii) CBSE, in consultation with the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India has decided to introduce nine point grading system. Accordingly, the “Statement of Subject wise Performance” to be issued by the Board w.e.f. the Class X Examination 2010 will have only Grades.
B) The Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) will be implemented in all affiliated schools with effect from October,2009 in Class IX. A separate Circular with relevant details of CCE will be issued in due course to Class IX students.
C) CLASS X – ACADEMIC SESSION 2010-11 ONWARDS:
In all schools upto secondary level there will be Board’s external (pen and paper written/on-line) Examination at the end of Class X.
External (pen and paper written/online) Examination:
i) These are mainly application oriented external (pen and paper written/online) Examinations will be based on the same syllabi as detailed in the Curriculum Document 2011.
ii) These Examinations will be certified by the CBSE.
The students in Classes IX and X in Secondary Schools also will follow the CCE. At the end of the Class X, students will be issued the CCE certificates on the pre-printed stationery supplied by the Board.
6.1: HALF-YEARLY EXAMINATIONS: Half-yearly Examinations will be conducted from 08.12.2009 to 15.12.2009. School closes for second term on 23.12.2009 and Christmas vacation starts from 23.12.2009 to 01.01.2010. School reopens after vacation on 02.01.2010.
7.1: SMART CLASS ONLINE: All the students of the School were provided with Smart Class Online facility. Students and parents are given IDs and Passwords to access Smart Class Online. SMART ASSESSMENT SYSTEM (SAS): A unique assessment tool SAS is provided in the classroom for teachers to make instant formative assessment after completing each module. Students answer the test with a powerful hand held remote device. The result of the individual performance of the student is displayed and helps the teacher to take prompt remedial measures.
8.1: T.C. & B.C. DUE: Parents are advised to submit the Birth and Transfer Certificate immediately in case it is pending or else the admission of your ward may be treated as cancelled.
